What calibers are allowed?

We allow everything up to but excluding a 50BMG rifle.

Do you allow handguns, rifles, shotguns, blackpowder or muzzleloaders?

We allow handguns and rifles. We do not allow blackpowder or muzzleloaders as they clog up our filters. Shotguns can only be used on the range the month of deer hunting. Slugs only.

Do I need to be a member to shoot on your range?

No. We are open to the general public. There are perks to membership like discounts on ammo and FREE UNLIMITED range time but membership is not required.

Do I need to make a reservation?

No. Our range is first come, first served. We only allow members to make reservations.

What do I need to bring to use the range?

Please bring an ID or if you are from another country a passport.

How many people can shoot on a lane?

We allow max 3 people per lane.

Do I need to bring someone with me to shoot?

No. We allow solo shooters to shoot on a lane by themselves. The ONLY time this is an issue is if you are renting a firearm from our facility and you brought none of your own firearms with you. In this instance we want to see a conceal carry permit, hunting license, military ID or similar documentation. This is a security measure to prevent those having no access to firearms coming to the range and renting one to commit suicide. If you don't have any applicable documentation, then a friend would need to come with you unless you are a known customer to our facility.

Can I bring in my own ammo?

If you are shooting your own firearms, you may bring in your own ammo. However if you are renting from us, you must purchase ammo from us at the time of rental to ensure quality factory ammo is being used. Many customers find our pricing very competitive with the big box stores. Restrictions may apply.

What safety equipment is required?

All guests are required to use eye and ear pro. Prescription glasses are fine.

Can I pick up my brass?

Yes. Anything behind the firing line and in your lane can be kept.

Often times the answer is YES! Let us know what you are looking for and we can get it ordered.

Do you offer layaway?

Absolutely! Terms are simple. 25% down and 3 months to pay it off. We will even special order layaway items. See store for restrictions.

CLASS FAQs

Do you offer classes?

Yes offer a variety of classes including Wisconsin Conceal Carry, Minnesota Conceal Carry, First Shots and Intro to Pistol.

Do you offer women only classes?

We do not offer women only classes. While we understand that many places do have women only offerings we have never had the need to offer them. T&L Tactical is a female owned store, with 2 female instructors on staff. We have always found our classes to run about 50/50 male/female.

Do you offer private instruction?

Yes. These just need to be scheduled in advance. Popular days are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays that we are not running classes.
